Floor Tom Resonates Too Much

As i mentioned in the video i like to think of the bass drum as the root note of a triad chord with the floor tom as the 5th and the rack tom as the 3rd.

For my floor tom i prefer to tune batter and resonant head the same. My band noticed the difference and said that my floor tom sounds much better. Another benefit that i like from these is that the floor tom is about a half inch higher than before. This takes out the ringing for me and it resonates plenty.
